NEWS & UPDATES
01 Aug 2013 | Rachel Books Untitled Andrew Gurland Comedy |
Fantastic news! Rachel has booked a new role! She has been cast as Mia in FX's new comedy series. The series is currently untitled and is going by Untitled Andrew Gurland Project at the moment as Andrew Gurland is set to write and direct. The series stars Nat Faxon (Ben & Kate) and Judy Greer (Arrested Development) as a married couple dealing with some relationship problems. You can read a more detailed synopsis of the series below. It's currently unclear what exactly Rachel's role will be. We can't even be sure whether she is guest starring or a series regular, but I'd bet on regular. Given that fellow young actress Raevan Lee Hanan, who shows a striking resemblance to Rachel, has been cast as Ella on the show, I'm going to assume that Rachel and Raevan will play the daughters of the main characters. This is entirely speculation though, so don't quote me on it! The series is listed as in pre-production on IMDb and is still untitled so it's unclear when exactly we can expect it to air. However filming was set for this summer, so hopefully sooner rather than later. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! Judy Greer is set as the female lead opposite Nat Faxon in FX's untitled Andrew Gurland comedy pilot. The half-hour comedy is about the lengths to which two best friends are willing to go to salvage their marriage. Lina Bowman (Greer) and her husband Russ Bowman (Faxon) get along great in every room except the bedroom. Living in a new city with no friends, and overwhelmed by her three young daughters, at the end of the day Lina would rather curl up with vampire fan fiction than her always-horny husband. In order to save their otherwise great marriage and family, she gives her husband permission to take care of his needs elsewhere. Gurland, who wrote the script, will also direct and executive produce alongside Paul Young and Peter Principato. Salamo Levin serves as a producer. The pilot will be produced by FX Prods and will shoot this summer in Los Angeles. - Deadline |

22 Jul 2013 | Sam & Cat clips and caps! |
Rachel's episode of Sam & Cat aired on Saturday and she was great in it! In the episode Sam and Cat competed to be the best babysitter to three siblings by impressing them. There were robots and fireworks and canons and even Justin Fever! Rachel's character purposefully didn't talk so Rachel didn't have any lines until the very end. When she did speak, what she said was so sweet and memorable. I'm still impressed with her little monologue! Make sure you watch the 4 clips below and check out the screencaps in the gallery. |
