1. How did you get started in the industry?

When I was 5 1/2 years I participated in dance and musical theatre. My mom asked me if I wanted to meet someone who knew a lot about acting. I replied with a huge "yes!" I was soon introduced to Sheila Russo through a friend of the family. Sheila was so nice and agreed to be my manager. She set-up a meeting with Coast to Coast Talent Group and I was working soon after.

2. What was your first booking? What was it like going to set for the first time?

I booked my very first commercial audition! The job was for Coke Zero in October 2010. I'm sad that the commercial never aired but I had so much fun filming it. I spent six hours in a pool that day and swam with Buzz Aldrin. It was the first time I experienced all that clapping when I wrapped -- so much fun!

3. How did you feel when you found out you booked How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)?

The day I found out that I booked HTLWYP was one of the happiest days of my life. I was seven and on my way to the set of HOUSE M.D. as a guest star. My manager Sheila called me at 7:00 am. and gave me the good news. I must've said to my mom that day "Mom, I booked a pilot" about a hundred times... I loved the way it sounded!

4. What was the best part of working on the series?

The best part of working on HTLWYP was getting to know the people who made up my TV family. They felt like a real family. Sarah Chalke, Brad Garrett, Elizabeth Perkins and Jon Dore were all very good to me. I loved Elizabeth's hair and outfits. Brad is so funny, kind and TALL. Sarah and Jon made me feel so comfortable during scenes. We always had a great time. I started to understand a little bit about improving and it was fun!

5. What was the experience like working on the series Married? Do you have a favorite scene you did for the show?

Working on Married is great! I have two sisters on that show -- Raeven Lee Hanan and Skylar Gray. At home I have no sisters, so it's fun to have on older and younger one on the show. I think my favorite scene was at a really cool, huge house with an awesome pool that had a slide. The pool was heated and I must've gone down that slide at least 30 times! Even though I can't watch this show because of the adult content,it's a lot fun to film. I just found out it got renewed for season two. I can't wait to start filming and see everyone again.

6. How did you prepare for your role of Hallie in Summer Snow?

Preparing for Summer Snow wasn't too hard because the character I was playing, Hallie Benson, was a little bit like me. She talked like I would and that made it easier to learn the dialoge. I was in most of the film and there was a lot to learn so my mom and I spent some time in the evenings going over the next day's scenes. Some of the scenes were challenging and emotional and I learned a lot about getting myself in the "zone" for a sad scene.

7. Do you have a favorite part of filming your episode of House?

My favorite scene on House, M.D. was when my character coughed up blood. It looked cool and tasted sweet. It was corn syrup. Even though I was only seven at the time, I had been a true House M.D. fan for as long as I could remember so working with Hugh Laure (he directed the episode) was, no kidding, a dream come true! Hugh would get down on one knee and talk to me before each scene like I was a regular person, not a little kid.

8. Which character that you've played has been the most like you? The least like you?

I think Natalie on How to Live With Your parents was the most like me because she was just regular kid with a big heart who had a family that loved her. The character that was least like me was Little Tilly on Austin & Ally. She could throw some major fits and was pretty bratty. Have you seen her clear a desk? It was super fun to play that role.

9. Who have been some of your favorite people to work with?

It's so hard to really answer the question about favorite people because well, there are a lot of them and every time I start a new project they become my favorite people. Elizabeth Perkins was always very special to me. She had this way with acting that made me want to be a better actress, she had a vibe that just kinda caught my attention. Judy Greer is my mom on Married. She's funny and she's real and I like that. I really want to mention Sarah Chalke too. She's warm and fuzzy and like a real mom. I was so comfortable working with her that I was really able to grow as an actress.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

Summer Snow has been my favorite project to work on so far. It was my first film, my first time on location, the first time I saw fireflies. That film was a first for a lot of things. Kentucky was so beautiful and the people I worked with were so warm and wonderful.
